Fundamentals of Trust Investments
The Fundamentals of Trust Investments course increases learners’ understanding of how a trust is invested in common practices, typical asset classes, and basic investment concepts such as compounding, portfolio construction, and time horizons. Investment goals and strategy, the investment process, and different approaches to investing are explored as well as investment governance associated with a trust and how to interpret investment statements. The course concludes with a useful investment case study that ties in the broader concepts of estate planning, financial planning, and wealth transfer in earlier lessons.
At the end of this course, participants will understand:
